Toys and trinkets

We have been cleaning up the house the last two days (something that can only be done right now)

100's of pencils, erasers, torn papers, trinkets from birthday parties which no one can make sense of.. like this one which we have at least 6-8 of from "pump it up" goody bags (what is it and what does one do with it ?)

Today we plan to "boldly go where no parent has gone before", into the kids closet... a few years from now, that would be impossible. Right now, we can still do a clean up job!

Hopefully we won't find fungus covered half eaten fruits from years ago.. just saying.. because it has happened to our friends!

reminds me of how the floor looks when the halloween stash is spread out. at least the adults can participate in consuming those, but these pencils, crayons etc? i pity you! ;-)

are those two baby vuvuzelas? have you tried blowing into them to see if they emanate any high-pitched notes?

have tried blowing through either end.. no noise comes out.

there is a small porous cloth like membrane inside the little circle in the center. do not know its purpose.

really weird contraption. no application notes..

Let us know of interesting finds, if any!
At one point in time, the couch had dry orange peels, toffee wrappers and assorted pens and pencils tucked between the couch and the cushions:(
The closet may be even more fun:)

Enjoy the cleaning... remember the days when you were like them and how your mom did all those things :)
